Fashion Meets Fission - Our Story

Where Reactors Meet Runways:
A Fashion-Forward Fight Against Climate Change
When it comes to driving climate action, fashion isn’t just part of the conversation—it’s the key.
If you wear clothes (and we really hope you do), then you’re already connected to one of the most influential industries on the planet. But what if fashion didn’t just set trends—it set the stage for a clean energy revolution?

I’m Rickey Ruff, founder and managing director of Global Nuclear Concepts, and I’m on a mission to decarbonize fashion manufacturing with nuclear energy. With a background in global sourcing and manufacturing for Ralph Lauren and Adidas, and firsthand experience in major production hubs like New York, Hong Kong, and Shanghai, I’ve seen the scale of this industry—and the potential for transformation.

Imagine a world where every piece of clothing is made with clean, zero-carbon energy. That’s why I’m bringing nuclear power to the fashion industry—not just as an energy source, but as a movement. Through Fashion Week Pop-Up Museums, we’re creating a space where the worlds of fashion and energy collide—where designers, brands, and sustainability leaders come together to showcase what’s possible.

Fashion has always been about shaping the future. Now, it’s time to ignite a new era—where reactors meet runways, and the fight against climate change becomes a global movement.

The challenge is big, but our collective power is bigger. Come in CURIOUS leave CONSCIOUS! Let’s roll up our sleeves and be the catalyst to saving our planet.
